Destitute of Vision - A Mobile Focused Audio Experience

Description

Destitute of Vision is an immersive audio-focused narrative experience designed for mobile devices. The story follows a prisoner being extracted from incarceration by comrades in a rebellion, but not before they have lost their sight due to torture. As the player progresses through the story they are presented with a series of decisions that affect the course of the story and whether or not the player will make it to the end. The decisions also have a time factor that gives players a sense of urgency and requires them to make a quick choice that could either spell doom or success. Listen carefully and think quickly in order to survive!

For this project, I was the Chief Blueprint Architect and responsible for implementing the design presented to me by the Project Lead into a workable format. Using Unreal Engine 4's Blueprint and Widget Systems I created a framework that was both simple and iterative so that each section could be easily modified and fine-tuned for final requirements as needed. Using that framework, I sequenced in the audio and graphic components that I was given in order to create a cohesive final product that could be presented to others.
